Brisingr
Couldn't wait to get this book - couldn't put it down. Some new terminology, but still a very descriptive book. Would highly recommend this book. My review is a bit late in coming as I have only recently gotten around to reading it in peace!

wow he destroyed a good series
The first 2 books i thoroughly enjoyed... but this one... It can't even be called part of the same series. the writing styles, characters behaviors, and the general plot. are completely different. suddenly in the 3rd(what was supposed to be the last book) the dragons minds have a man-with-long-straw-hair way of identifying people, arya is almost a bit part now and acts completely different.
none of the new plot twists were imaginative or the magic even remotely to the same caliber. I think the dumbest part was his new sword. space metal that the elves cannot forge just happens to be under a tree that saphira burns to make it talk to them. and of course there is the whole 'no eragon I am your father'
It was just bad. maybe it wouldn't be so bad by itself, but to extend the inheritance trilogy or whatever it is now with this, just ruined the story. he should have saved new ideas he had for a new series, not try to change everything in the middle of one.
obviously i will still get the last one when it comes out because i kinda have to to know how he finishes it. but the inheritance trilogy stopped with eldest.

Brisingr
I enjoy this author very much. He gets slightly verbos at times but it doesn't detract from the story.

Good, but Needs Work
Eragon is back, and I waited for this book with much anticipation. I was hoping it wouldn't be the final ook, because I thought there was much too much to be done at the end of Eldest to put in one book. My wish was granted.
In this book, I think the characters develop much more. We see them much more clearly, and Eragon becomes a better character in my opinion.

However, we see too much development in some (most) characters. Roran and Eragon talk as if they were raised by scholars, not on a farm by a farmer. Oromis stays good, Saphira stay good, Arya becomes more awesomrly powerful, until she outmatches Eragon and takes over the story, mwahahahahaha! That is ridiculous. Arya should have stayed as she, was: the elf Eragon "loves" and who is powerful and beautiful. We didn't really need her to become MORE powerful, did we?
And the characters talk way too much. Even Saphira, Oromis, Roran, and Arya are noticing how much Eragon talks to others. However, they talk quite a lot too if it is them Eragon is talking to. Saphira comments on how much Eragon talks in the actual TEXT! However, my dear dragon, you talk too much as well if you're in Eragon's conversation.

This is starting to sound negative, so now for more good parts.

Eragon gets over his hatred of Urgals. I thought he needed to, because how incredibly racist is that? So you fought them once. They were under Durza's control. Not their fault. In Brisingr, when Eragon must travel with one, he realizes Urgals can be good. That made me incredibly happy.
Also, he seems to get over his love for Arya a little. That's good, because it was starting to block up the main plot.
Overall, this was a good read and I will ost definitly buy the 4th one.

Izak from Lake Tapps says this book has a lot of suspense

Do you want a book that you literally can't put down? Then check out BRISINGR it will blow your socks off.
The title of the book is BRISINGR. The author of the book is Christopher Paulini. The genre of the story is fiction. The number of pages is 763 pages.
My favorite part of the book is when they had the trial of long knives. Because they are proving their endurance.
BRISINGR is about a boy named Eragon who continues his journey to defeat an evil empire. Similar are Dragon Rider and The Land of Ellion series. I recommend this book for ages 11 and up unless you really want to read it.
