Lamb: a ministers review
As an ordained Southern Baptist Minister, I have tried to maintain an open mind. After initially questioning "why?", within a couple of pages I was laughing deeply and enjoying "Lamb" in a way I have not enjoyed most "theological" literature. I was amazed at the profound depth, wisdom and humor portrayed by Christopher Moore in, "Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal." It only deepened my devotion to the Christ I know and his friends like Biff. I am proud to worship a Christ of all humanity.
Sincerely,
Rev.Roland H Johnson III, Pastor, Churchwithnowalls.net

Wonderful
Brilliant. Moore manages to pull this off in a way that is not offensive to anyone. Very good read for an airline trip. 2008-12-16

This is the best story ever!
The book is funny. Add Fisher Stevens reading the book to you (not to mention his voices) just makes it even better!
just remember, Joshua loves you and wants you to eat bacon!

Superb
This book did for me what Passion of the Christ could not... it made me bawl my eyes out. I think it's the only book that has made me laugh and cry hysterically in the same sitting. I'm barely Christian, but Lamb really gives a gravity to the events of Jesus's life by demystifying him without defiling him. One of the saddest, funniest, most touching stories I have ever read ... I kind of don't have words for how much I loved it. 2008-12-09

The best book Ive read in months
I loved this book! Its very rare you find a book that makes you laugh outloud. It makes you think but does it in a way that makes you read it over and over. Ive bought 3 more copies as christmas gifts, its a must read for everyone!! 2008-11-25
