Too Fat to Fish

This is a quiet read for the evening. Will go over big with Stern fanatics, but I don't see NY Tmes bestseller other than in number of sales just due to his connection to the show.

Artie, is one hell of a funny guy! I Loved his book and enjoy him so much on the Howard Stern radio show. He always makes me laugh and smile with his quick wit. His book is just simply amazing. Congratulations Artie on the success of your book, (#1 NY times best seller list) It is certainly well deserved and long time in coming. Keep us laughing my friend! Please take care of yourself.

Artie Lange proves he really has had an interesting life up to this point; his stories are poignant and funny - I found myself laughing out loud often. At the same time, I needed to pull out the tissues a couple of times. Read this book, and get an intimate look at his life so far. You'll be glad you did.

I really looked forward to Artie Lange's "Too Fat To Fish." Unfortunately I'm not sure it lived up to the hype. The book is the story of Artie's coming up from a Jersey kid to making it in showbiz. Every time he has something good happen to him, he destroys himself and the people around him with drug binges. If you listen to The Howard Stern Show I would say you have already heard 90% of the content contained within this book.

I liked his honesty throughout the book however you never know what you can trust from Mr. Lange as his life is basically a mountain of lies.

Overall I didn't hate the book but I feel like it under-delivered. It was way more depressing than it was funny.
