Meggs' History of Graphic Design

One of the best book I bought on the subject. Buy it. it's a great source of inspiration.

I am a graphic design student, and this book was assigned for one of my classes. The History of Graphic Design, is such am amazing book. I find myself flipping through the pages for fun! You could read it over and over again, and always learn something new. This is a very thick book, full of vibrant pictures, and great for gathering your own ideas ! If you could only buy one book on the history of graphci design, this should be that book !

The book is in wonderful condition and is filled with very interesting material.

I was one of Philip Meggs students at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. Our class was the first to use the first edition of this book as a classroom textbook for his History of Graphic Design class. He was a wonderful storyteller, with a true passion for graphic design. And more than that was the obvious joy he had in sharing that knowledge and whimsical annecdotes in his own style of humor. Philip Meggs was an exceptional man that will truly be missed.

Borrow this book from a friend in class and photocopy the pages, thats my advice. Good book, just over priced.
