Ain't so hot.
This book was interesting. I was expecting it to be really great...I love chic lit novels. However, I started to read it and realized it was a really slow read. The plot was okay, but wasn't really interesting until the very end of the book. Also, the language was pretty bad.
I gave it two stars because of the language and sex.

More like Chasing SEX & THE CITY!
Chasing Harry Winston was a total disappointment with lack of originality and storyline. The book tries to be Sex & the City in so many ways by having single New York women, love and friendships. Even though you hope the story will become interesting at some point it becomes clear that the story line is not original and same goes for the characters. The novel had potential and yet did not deliver.
Just a heads up Weisberger if you are going to write about single women in New York, you have to write something more umm let's see ORIGINAL!

Uh.. so not worth it !
The book is such a drag and I think the author ran out of ideas to keep her characters lives interesting.. She kept recycling the content over and over again. Sometimes authors should go out when they at the top.. This is not anywhere close to Devil wears Prada caliber! Waste of time.. 2008-09-23

Chasing Harry Winston dazzles!
This was absolutely the best end of summer read! It was light, fun and amusing, not to mention easy to read -- I read it in one day! I've given this title five stars because it did what Ms. Weisberger intended -- it entertained and I felt as if I got what I paid for. 2008-09-21

Really bad
This was a truly terrible book. The story line was very formulaic, nothing here that hasn't been written in MANY other chick lit books. The characters are one-dimensional, and the reader is left not liking/relating to any of them. The author's propensity to fall back on vulgarity and swearing is really pitiful. I'll never understand why authors feel the need to pepper their manuscripts with cursing and swearing. It's very distasteful. I enjoyed "The Devil Wears Prada", but this book was really awful. I wouldn't recommend it at all. 2008-09-21
