BRS Physiology (Board Review Series)

Consistently good book, easy to read, useful information in logical order. Pretty much all you have to know on Physio for Step 1.

This book is fabulous!!! It's one of the best physiology books I've read. I highly encourage purchasing it. Plus, it's a great FNP board review book with great questions at the end of the chapters!

Hands down the best resource for physiology. Respiratory and Acid-Base chapters were a bit weak, but overall, the book was excellent.

Great to use during 1st and 2nd year in supplement to your medschool classes. My boards will be this summer, but this book is widely regarded as the gold standard for physiology preparation for the USMLE/COMLEX step 1..This book is also a condensed version of the bigger physiology boook by costanzo (same author) so if you dont understand anything in the BRS, you should refer to the bigger Costanzo book. I highly recommend at least the BRS for boards.
