Taber's Cyclopedic Medical Dictionary
This is a great reference for the Medical Terminology. It breaks things down so that the average person can really grasp the concept. Plus the illustrations in the book are FANTASTIC! This was not available on my college campus and I ordered this through Amazon and got it quickly to my front door. I highly recommend this book for the Medical Terminology or just for curiosity in the medical field. 2008-08-27

Does not run from PC (only with CD): this is nonsense
Taber's dictionary (CD-ROM) does not run from your PC, you must insert the CD-ROM. In addition, the support email address does not answer your questions.
Not recommendable.

Great medical reference book
I used one of these at my job and liked it so well that I bought one for myself when I retired. It will answer pretty much any question you have about ailments, treatments, etc. 2008-07-03
