Taber's Cyclopedic Medical Dictionary (Thumb Index)

This is a nice little encyclopedia. It came in handy many times during nursing classes when I was not quite sure about all of the different medical terms and diseases. I would recommend it if you are going into a medical field and would like a nice reference to refer to every once in a while.

While this book is very informative, I've looked up some medical words only to find them not listed. Out of say 99 words looked up, I maybe could not find 4. Not bad.

This book is so helpful. I am taking a course in medical billing and without it, I would be lost.

After years in the field, getting the updated version was quick, easy and inexpensive on Amazon.

I am a student of Cental Florida College studying Medical Billing and Coding. This dictionary is a very valuable tool. It has helped in numerous ways. I would highly recommend anyone studying in the Medical field to purchase this book!
