Gorgeous, Stunning, Fabulous
I ordered the Vanity Fair: The Portraits: A Century of Iconic Images for my daughter who, while not Annie Leibovitz, has quite an eye in her own right and with a "little" encouragement might choose to devote more of her energy to her own art. Hours and hours of arresting photographic imagery.

Great coffee table book
Vanity Fair..the Portraits is a great coffee table book which is
definitely a conversation piece. Vanity Fair is known for showcasing
prominent figures within its monthly publication and this book displays
the best of those from past to present. It is definitely worth it. There are some significant people who I would have liked to have seen
displayed in this book but I guess, given the history of Vanity Fair it would be virtually impossible to include everyone.

For anyone who loves portraits, this is your book. I love it! A great coffee table book or just one to add to your collection.

Extraordinario

Great Book, Print Quality so-so
If you're into portrait photography, this is a great book covering some well known portraits, and a wide range of style, time, and people. I went through the book several times 'earmarking' portraits for lighting style, posing, and/or composition that I find inspirational.

My copy of the book had several pages though where the ink of one page had worn off onto another page, which was most annoying.
