Review
This is a very comprehensive program for coaching. It is laid out well and the DVD is very helpful for tools and samples. 2007-05-12

The Gold Standard for Coaching
All coaches and leaders can learn from this common sense model how to interact and influence anyone you have contact with. 2007-04-10

Co-Active Coaching - a User Friendly Resource for Everyone
The book offers a common sense model which is easy to remember and follow. While reading it, I suggest to highlight the many ideas that will give you the support to put the concepts into practice while you influence coworkers, family members and practically anyone you interface with.
The CD is a good idea but I found the examples a little artificial and not for my corporate use.

Coaching Gold Standard
A must for all coaches! And I feel so fortunate to have been trained by these authors in 1997. They're the best! This revision is as valuable as the first. 2007-03-19

Excellent Book for Professional Coaches or those curious about coaching
"Co-Active Coaching: New Skills for Coaching People Toward Success in Work and Life" is a wonderful book for anyone who wants to learn more about life coaching and specifically about the coaching method, Co-Active Coaching.
I am a Professional Life Coach and I was trained in Co-Active Coaching by the Coaches Training Institute. One of the authors of this book, Phil Sandahl, was one of my instructors. This book is not a substitute for the in-person courses, but it provides a wonderful overview of the concepts and skills that are taught in the courses. This book is also a good review and reference for anyone who has gone through the training. I refer to my copy quite frequently.
If you are considering becoming a coach, are someone who wants more detailed information about life coaching, or if you are a professional life coach, this book should be on your bookshelf.
