Loved This Book!!!!!

I picked this book based only on it's reviews. Normally I never do that. It's not something I would have normally picked out since it discusses religion. I LOVED this book though. It's a real page turner. I would love to tell you why I loved this book so much but I don't want to be a spoiler. All I can say is that it's a GREAT book & as soon as I finished it a friend borrowed it. Can't wait to hear what they have to say about it also.

Life changing

This book is a must read for those who believe and those who are struggling to believe... I can promise you, by the time you finish reading this book, if you still don't believe, you will still know that it doesn't take belief to understand that a plan is already in place for you... you can either " make it through life " or you can " get through life " and never forget... God is especially fond of you whether you believe it or not...

The Shack review

This is an extremely well written book expressing many truths and absolute truths. However, it is a book of fiction but it could lead the reader to decide to read The Bible where they can learn these truths in greater detail.

Best book in many years

While the story description made me hesitate (who really wants to enter into a story about a child abduction), I'm glad I pressed on to the heart of the book, which is an amazing encounter with the Three-Person-God. I can't recall ever coming across such magnetic picture of the source of all Love and Truth. I laughed and cried and called out for God to forgive me for forgetting how incredible His love is for me. There is so much truth mingled into this story that I find myself more cognizant and aware God's presence throughout the day. It's so true: "If anything matters then everything matters ..." Read this book with an open heart and you may never be the same.

Woohoo Papa!

What a refreshing view of God! I actually prefer William Young's term 'Papa'. So intimate. What a powerful and inviting view of relationship with Papa. This book just leaves religion in the dust! Be prepared for a varieety of emotions. I laughed, sobbed, came face-to-face with my own dark secrets, and came out cheering Papa's love, and delight for me.
