Must Read
Marc's book is great. It helped build the skills and confidence for my interviews. I read the book 5 days prior to the interview and practiced the lessons and received an offer.

Thank you Marc.

P.S. this and the vault case guide are the only books you need to get a consulting offer.

Worth the money
As an undergraduate at the Wharton Business School, I found Case in Point valuable as I prepared for my summer interviews. With clear explanations and relevant cases, this guide takes the stress out of preparing for the case-based interview process.

I even found I used my copy during the academic year as a quick reference for problem solving. The methods in the guide have a universal application.

The author's straightforward style makes the material accessible, and sometimes even humorous. Your copy will end up dog-eared and highlighted.

Definitely worth a read.

Building up my logical thinking
I have deeply been eager to set up the ways of logical thinking. I am a pharmaceutical scientist who wants to help out sick people who desperately need pharmaceutical therapies. Not only for developing interviewing skills, but for building up logical thinking, this book would fit my goal in certain ways.

The best MBA case interview study guide
Case in Point is a must buy & read. I bought this book after completing my MBA and was very inspired by the meticulous and practical tools provided to solve case interviews.

To get your appetite going for this book, Case in Point begins with outlining 13 Case Commandments:
1. Listen to the Question
2. Take Notes
3. Summarize the Question
4. Verify the Objectives
5. Ask Clarifying Questions
6. Organize Your Answer
7. Hold that Thought for "one alligator"
8. Manage your Time
9. Work the Numbers
10. Be Coachable
11. Be Creative and Brainstorm
12. Exude Enthusiasm and a Positive Attitude
13. Bring Closure and Summarize

In the book, Cosentino provides fantastic tools and frameworks to help solve complex case interview problems. In addition, there are a series of case interviews with a description of how to solve the problems seamlessly, analytically and intelligently.

Brilliant book. Buy it!

to much detail
The framework suggested my the book is useful however the interviewee shouldn't solve the case in a very structured way. That may be disliked by the interviewer. Some cases were good but some cases required prior knowledge of the issue. Good book, not the best. You should better read others as well.
