Great book for athletes
PPST is a great book for all athletes young and old to help learn about health and fitness programs to be a superior athlete
I got the book 1 month ago and just finished it. The book has alot of great tips on how to stay healthy and happy and how to make a great training program for all levels of athletes (no weight training experience to master)
5/5 for this book

must have
While i have not finished this book, so far it is one of the best on training i have read in many years. you are given practical methods of training and clear explanations of how your body responds to training. many of the myths of weight lifting and fitness are busted enabling you to make sustained progress rather than the plateau's commonly associated with many of the pulp-rag workouts. give this book an honest try, i think you will profit from it. 2008-03-11

You Train for Strength? BUY IT NOW
if you lift for strength or just lift seriously period, buy this book now. Chances are you are doing something "wrong" and could be progressing much faster. 2008-03-08

The most COMPLETE trainning book
I am a chemistry/ biology student in my last year of college. I also have been trainning for the last several years in strength and conditioning. Having read countless books on trainning (most of them focus in the Bodybuilding Arena) I have come across this superior book. It has all of the correct principles and most accurate science data in place along with the experience of someone who not only coaches athletes but is also a lifter. This translates into a loose program that can really help your trainning and not only improve preformance but also (if you are trainning to get a better looking body) help improve looks as well. I would have only one caution the language is semi technical and a background in physiology (though not totally a must) is very helpful. All of the advice is backed with reasearch and will definitly help improve your trainning. 2008-02-29

Great book on training.
It seems to lean towards being written for coaches but truely it should be read by all atheletes who enter a weight room. A perfect sequal to Starting Strnegth. Amust for the personal library of any coach or trainey. 2008-02-18
