Too Basic
I consider myself computer savvy so I was hoping to get more information than I could get from the internet or my state tax sale site. I couldn't. This book was no help into what to expect, what are the steps that need to happen after you aquire a tax lein (no detail), and what are the typical costs after with forclosing and dealing with lawyers, courts ect. I got none of what I was looking for.
One section covers financing in order to bid on a tax sale. In my opinion if you have to borrow money or use credit cards you are not truly making an investment.

Easy to Read
I read this book in just a couple of days and found it to be simple yet very informative. I probably will not be jumping into investing into liens and deeds right away until I research some more, but this book is definitely one to read first before starting your adventure. It is definitely not boring and I highly recommend it to anyone who, like me, is just starting to learn about this type of investing. 2008-09-04

excellent info for tax liens
This book is very easy to understand. It gives you step by step information and resources on tax liens and deed. I would recommend this book to any one that wants to know about tax lien and deeds. 2008-06-16

Tax Liens Demistified
A good book that demistifies any confusion about tax sales throughout the country. Easy to read and easy to follow. Breaks down all the information into an organization fashion. Unfortunately, the author's website isn't working. 2008-02-25

something new for me
This book is straightforward and is written for a beginner. It does not lure you into any gimmicks or tactics that might not work but rather warns you of them and what other pitfalls in due diligence. I drive to the United States often and found the information here valuable as a beginner and someone that isn't from here. You see there are a lot of things we can't do unless we reside in America, being Canadian, I wanted to learn how to invest in tax liens and tax deeds without a social security number. I got my answer as it covers alternatives to SSN.
