Great book for Starting a Non/not for profit
This is a great book!! He tracks the langauges of the required statutes and it has everything you need!! It is "The Bible" of how to books for starting a Non-profit. The only draw back is that it does not give a lot of advice for starting a church. However, that does not diminish its potency. 2007-05-12

TOPS!
After reading this book, I found it to contain everything I was hoping for. I don't feel I'll have any trouble now in starting my corporation. Thanks for such a well written educational tool. 2007-01-05

A Wonderful Resource
This book's title says it all. It gives you the nuts and bolts of how to form a nonprofit corporation. The CD includes many useful documents including the federal tax forms and sample bylaws. If you are planning to found a nonprofit, this step-by-step guide is just what you need. 2006-11-05

Setting up a Non-Profit is Easy
Book was very valuable in setting up a non profit for selling fair trade Honduran coffee in the US. Guided me through all the initial steps of setting up a board and application for tax free status (in progress). 2006-11-04

A real winner!
When I was starting up my nonprofit I didn't have thousands of dollars to waste paying a lawyer for advice. If this sounds familiar then I highly recommend Nolo's How to Form a Nonprofit Corporation. It takes you over all of the legal hurdles that you'll encounter in a well organized and user-friendly format. They've got you covered from preparing Articles of Incorporation, to applying for tax exemption, to following your state's specific requirements. It even includes all the forms you'll need on an included CD-ROM. Why waste money you don't have on expensive lawyers when you can do it just as well youself for so much cheaper? I didn't and now my nonprofit is prospering! Thanks Nolo. 2004-05-18
